Chaplain, major Nils Terje Lunde , RNoAF, recipient of the Asle Enger Award 2005
1. He did an outstanding job organizing the International Military Ethics Symposium at the Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy's anniversary in 1999.
2. He has assisted in AMCF military ethics visits such as to the Hungarian
Military Academy.
3. He has been one of the principal editors /writers for Pacem, the military
ethics journal.
4. He has continuously contributed to the teaching of military ethics at RNAFA and in other military institutions such as the Staff College.
5. He has international recognition (e.g. his attendance in 2000 at the Wing
Chaplain course at the USAF Chaplain Service Institute at Maxwell AFB and visit
to West Point in 2002 with relation to leadership issues)
6. In 2004 he wrote the official history of the Norwegian chaplaincy.
7. He has contributed to the ethical development of Norwegian forces through his support of the KBS..annual meetings, etc.
8. He is completing his PhD thesis in military ethics (Theological responses to security politics in Norway after WWII).
