Dear Friends and Prayer Partners:
PTL! Joy cometh in the morning! The sun is shining and we thank
the Lord for His blessings and for the part you all have been
playing. As I sit here typing I have a trumpet CD on and she is
playing "Sing the Wondrous Love of Jesus" oh how true
that is! His
love goes beyond what we can even imagine and blesses us
completely. In our last message we asked you to pray for certain
things and we would like to share with you the Lord's answers.
- No delegates from Africa - the Lord has sent a couple who
have
been instrumental in starting the fellowships in 2 of the African
nations. This will give us their viewpoint. PTL!
- The visa problem - found there was a mis-interpretation and
the date showed was by when they had to use it, not when it
expired. PTL!
- The ministry to Darfur has been arranged for later so that
delegate will be with us.
- Although leave was not granted, the wife has arrived in the
DC
area and is being a blessing as well as being blessed by her
hostess. PTL!
- Our friend is still in the hospital, but progressing well.
The
responsibilities they had have been taken care of by someone
else. PTL!Team
- All of the housing in the DC area has been taken
care of in a great way. PTL!
Thank you all for standing with us in prayer. What a mighty God
we
serve who goes before us and allows us to follow in His steps.
We
thank Him for His directions and supplying not only our needs
but
also many of our wants.
Today is travel day for most of the delegates. They are coming
from
many different time zones and for many, this will be a day/night
of
firsts. First time in the USA, first time with American food,
first
time in a different bed, first time having to use English, etc.
Pray
with us that the Lord will give them peace about these things
and the
ability to make the changes needed to be comfortable with their
hosts. During the next 2 weeks they will be together at White
Sulphur Springs and then as we travel on the road. Seek the Lord's
grace in allowing all to get along and not have personality problems.
Today three of the staff couples have gone to Philadelphia to
pick
up the vans. Ask the Lord to give them safety as they travel and
that all will go well in their trip. Seek too His blessing in
the
vans we rent that all may go well on the entire time.
Tomorrow all will meet at the Jarratts home for a dessert time,
time
of meeting each other, getting all the luggage in the vans, etc.,
and
driving to White Sulphur Springs...about 3 hours. We thank the
Lord
for what HE is going to do during this time of Interaction. We
know
that HE IS IN CHARGE and Satan cannot have any victories. Please
continue to keep us in prayer, thanking the Lord for what He has
done for what He will do! Keep the families left behind in good
health
without problems that could concern the delegates. He is faithful.
We love you and you are a great blessing to all of us! Thank you!
