Dear Friends and Prayer Partners:
What makes a good leader? Oh the variety of answers to that
question! We came up with 3 major ones...Authority, Personality
and Character. Omit any of the three and you could be in
trouble. Of course the greatest example of a leader is Christ mad
what blessing pour forth when we follow Him. It was a good session
to start off the day and to rejoice in what the Lord is doing amongst us.
Leadership was followed by Inductive Bible Study. Dick did a great
job of presenting it and then having a model to show how it
works. From there, the entire group divided and many smaller groups
went through Inductive Bible Study. This is always a time of
learning for each of us and thanking the Lord for what He shows us in His Word.
After a delicious lunch, it was time for the official photo. What a
gorgeous group we are! Many of the women wore dresses from their
country and that helped to make all of us beautiful. It is always
interesting to see clothing from other parts of the world. We hope
that you enjoy the photo too! Before changing back into working
clothes, we were treated to a tea presented by Mrs. Kent. She always
does such a lovely tea, making us all feel like being entertained as
royalty. The fellowship was great and everyone shared in this time
of relaxation around the tea party.
Today was a special day for one of our couples as they celebrated
their Wedding Anniversary! The cooks prepared a cake for them and we
all enjoyed being part of this celebration. Happy Anniversary to
June and Chris West of the UK.
