It is hard to support and pray for an organization about which you know only a little. Come to this workshop and learn just what a Military Christian Fellowship (MCF) is, how it gets started, how it grows, how it is organized, its relationship to churches, what are the typical activities, and much more.

- The Church, Para-Church, and Military Working Together
Historically in most parts of the world, the Church has had little to do with the military. Many persons believe that military service is incompatible with Christianity. Para-Church organizations working with the military have often been in competition with each other. Military commanders and chaplains have at times rebuffed efforts of both the Church and Para-Church for a variety of reasons. This workshop shows how the three, when working together, can be more successful in their efforts to provide spiritual care for members of the military.

- Witnessing to Military and Security Forces
Members in the military and security forces of a nation live in a society within a society. It is a special, exclusive, professional society. The members work exceedingly hard and many long hours, often in very dangerous conditions. Many believe it is a “Hard to reach society.” Come to this workshop and learn how to effectively witness to persons in this society, leading then to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

- Small Group Bible Study and Prayer
Many people believe that in order for members of a small group to study the Bible the group must be led by someone with theological training, a pastor or a chaplain. Participants in small groups usually pray sequentially. However in many locations, especially in a nation’s military (uniformed security and defense services), a pastor or chaplain may not be available. This workshop shows a very effective and exciting way in which small group Bible study may be led by anyone with leadership abilities, and participants experience praying in a conversational style rather than sequentially.
