Our regional ministry allows ACCTS to support military believers in ways that honor each nation’s culture, needs, and opportunities.

MINISTRIES

Asia

The vast region of Asia covers nations such as South Korea, where Christianity flourishes, to Turkmenistan, where Christianity is not welcome. As in other regions, ACCTS’ outreach in each country is individualized to the needs of each nation.

In China, ACCTS maintains a friendship ministry to Chinese citizens in the US and in China.

In South Korea, we work closely with military Christians and the vibrant ministry they carry out both within their nation and in other nations around the world.

Our staff members encourage and minister to national Christians, MCF leaders and members, and AMCF vice presidents in this region.

MINISTRIES

Europe

ACCTS staff work closely with indigenous leaders of military Christian fellowships in Europe by:

- Encouraging individual military Christians in their walk with God
- Helping them develop strategic ministry plans
- Speaking at military Christian conferences and events
- Helping international cadets, midshipmen, and young officers participate in military Christian fellowship leadership courses in the USA
- Organizing Academy Exploration trips to European nations
- Providing American English language training courses to MCFS who request them
- Connecting military Christian fellowships with other military ministries
- Working closely with chaplains and ministering to them
- Working closely with our sister organization, MMI in support of the AMCF
- Working closely with European vice presidents for AMCF

The majority of nations in Europe have indigenously-organized military Christian fellowships. Some of Europe’s MCFs are the oldest-known groups in the world, including AFCU in U.K. and the German COV.

Europe’s diversity means that ACCTS staff must know and understand the culture of each nation in which they minister. Ministry is tailored to each specific region, which makes the relationships which our staff have with MCF leaders invaluable.

MINISTRIES

Latin America

Latin America is blessed with military Christian fellowships (MCFs) in most of its nations, and this region includes the world’s largest MCF -- UMCEB in Brazil. These MCFs hold frequent national and regional events and carry out local discipleship and outreach programs. ACCTS staff members:

  • Develop personal relationships with MCF leaders and members.
  • Help organize, lead, and speak at local conferences and leadership training programs.
  • Work closely with the three regional AMCF vice presidents.
